For perhaps a Chicken roulade stuffed with Gruyere cheese and local sweet peppers with a delightful mustard Riesling sauce or maybe a more casual and traditional with all the fixings. We brine and smoke whole shoulders in a 17 hour process that produces a pulled pork unlike any you’ve ever had.

While we feel we are unmatched in stunning hospitality we have also become quite adept in the ways of I.T.. No stranger to the landscape of , Corley Mill House & Garden has remained at the top of the list of premier and venues in the south east for the last 15 years.  While we certainly have enjoyed watching the restaurant industry in evolve and mature over the years we noticed that the & scene seemed a bit stagnate in comparison. Just the same old caterers with the same old shrimp and grits and vegetable trays. We noticed our own in-house program also seemed a little ripe for innovation. We realized that didn’t need another company… it needed a different kind of company. So we stepped outside of the box and asked ourselves what elements would we need to add or change in our company in order to take on this new role. A surprisingly simple list followed and we got busy. What began as a seemingly natural expansion of our company ended as a complete overhaul of our culinary and design programs. After nearly a year of hard but gratifying work we are now thrilled to extend our services to the world of off premise .

We have built a new state-of-the-art kitchen, complete with loading bay, Smoking pit and even a miniature research and development test kitchen. We have tirelessly sought out and tested the newest technology in transportation assuring the highest quality while adhering to the stringent requirements of safety. We have reached out to local farmers and vendors in order to procure the highest quality and most responsible ingredients. We have also brought Scott aboard as our new executive and partner.

Scott returns to after 14 years of culinary education & exploration as well as a successful career in & planning in New York City. Having worked in the and restaurant industry for nearly all of his professional life Scott was thrilled when the opportunity arose for him to create, open and manage a company with his mentor, restaurateur Craig Skiptunis, in uptown Manhattan. Flavor was born and quickly found success as a design oriented company with a dedication to value, high quality ingredients and most importantly innovation. Scott brings to Corley Mill the same devotion to innovation that made Flavor stand out in a city served by arguably the best caterers in the world.

Our list completed , the elements in place, we are ready to change the way South Carolinians think about their catered events. With an emphasis on style & creativity, a commitment to value & quality and a passion for culinary tradition  we believe we can offer what has been missing in our market.

Every sauce and stock is made from scratch on site. Every ingredient is of the highest possible quality. Our pork shoulders are lovingly brined in sea salt, molasses and bourbon and our hickory is from trees grown just down the street.  We even cure our own bacon! Why this attention to detail?
