Since its inception in 1990, Bedazzled Catering has added a dimension of beauty, ambiance and culinary delight to the lives of everyone it’s touched. This is due to the creative genius and work ethic of Becky Pluimer CEO and Founder of BEDAZZLD CATERING. She just seems to have an uncanny eye for transformation.
Under her supervision, coffee service for 10 and a tray of muffins turns into a snack fit for a Sultan and his staff. A fresh fruit display looks as though it came directly from the Garden of Eden (apples optional, of course). From mouth watering food to its accompanying decor and unique presentation, everything appears to fall into place when Becky is in charge.
But life wasn’t always so beautiful and abundant for Becky. Daughter of a minister and wife of a Pastor her roots were founded in making the most out of the least. Becky’s husband was Pastor Butch Pluimer, pastor of Colonial bible Church in Tustin, who died a few years ago of Multiple Myeloma. Working through personal tragedy as well as everyday challenges have only served to fine tune her ability to see beyond the everyday and present it beautifully…sometimes with three different dipping sauces and a fresh flower centerpiece.
“Making Something out of Nothing” is not only the name of Becky’s informative talk on “how to dress up that dining room table for unexpected guests, with stuff you already have around the house”. It actually describes her life and how she did not stop at just making lemonade out of lemons that life handed her – but went on to create a Lemon Mousse Supreme and present it in BEDAZZLED’S signature style.
